Sports and free time activities

Discovering Limone sul Garda and its activities

discovering the wind and water of Lake Garda Garda is a real open-air gym where you can practice ALL sorts of “Active Sports”. Specifically, Windsurfing, Kitesurfing and Sailing are very popular on Lake Garda, thanks to the fame of its winds, such as “Pelèr” and the “Ora”. Practicing Windsurfing and Kitesurfing, as well as Wingfoil and Kayaking, on Lake Garda is ideal for both beginners and experts who want to perfect their style. These types of activities are offered by our new surf school "Surfing Lino", located on the main beach of Limone sul Garda, 300 meters walk from our hotel.

The Ciclopedonale

the cycle path suspended over the lake

Inaugurated in 2018, it is the first segment of the cycle/pedestrian path that will connect Limone sul Garda to Riva del Garda. This stretch already offers breathtaking views of magnificent Lake Garda. The cycle/pedestrian path starts from the historic heart of Limone sul Garda, continues through ancient lemon groves and romantic views to arrive at Capo Reamol. Here, the most fascinating stretch begins: the track seems suspended over the water, anchored to the rock, and offers spectacular views that will take your breath away. You can ride “suspended” on the water by renting a bike from our partner Limone Bike Rental, next to our hotel.

Art and tradition in the ancient “Limonaia del Castèl”

This lemon garden is one of the iconic sights of Limone sul Garda, where you can admire a stunning view of the lake and get to know all the typical citrus fruits of the area (citrons, lemons, sweet and bitter oranges, chinotti, grapefruits, mandarins and kumquats).

Weekly Program

“Visit Limone sul Garda“

From May to September, the Limone Tourist Office organizes a series of exclusive weekly activities, intended for guests of local hotels. Activities include easy guided nature walks, guided e-bike tours, and interesting guided tours in the historic center of Limone.

Trekking and walking

Limone is an ideal trekking destination, with numerous panoramic routes, suitable for everyone - from relaxing walks along the cycle/pedestrian path to more extreme routes such as Cima Mughera and Carone Peak.

Museums and Churches

For those who love history, art and culture, this small town on the shores of Lake Garda offers many chances to explore the past through lemon groves, museums, churches and olive groves. Among the main museums we find the Tourism Museum, the Comboni Missionary Center of San Daniele Comboni, the Ancient Oil Mill with the oil exhibition, and the Fishermen's Museum. The most picturesque churches are the “Church of San Pietro” and the “Church of San Rocco”

Visit to the “ALPE del Garda” dairy

Located in Tremosine sul Garda (8 km from Limone), in nearby Val di Bondo, this company focuses on promoting traditional local products, offering cheeses and dairy products (such as the much-renowned “Formagella di Tremosine”), meat and sausages coming from certified milk and meat supply chains, all within the Cooperative itself. You will be able to try their dairy products every morning on our breakfast buffet!

Boat or motorboat excursions on Lake Garda

Starting from Limone and purchasing a day ticket, you can spend a pleasant day sailing around the lake by boat, choosing what locations to visit. It is also possible to get off anywhere, look around and then leave on the next boat.
